This week, I learnt about how to input the rollover caption or rollover image in my CAI . The rollover caption or image that is when you move your mouse pass the words or image that can show some captions, sound, or image. This knowledge can make my CAI to interest learners. I can choose some image or sound that are popular of learner for interesting.

This week, teacher taught me to create about test in Captivate 8 program. Kinds of test in Captivate 8 program have 5 type. There are multiple choice, short answer, true or false, fill in the blank, and matching. I can bring this knowledge to use in my CAI. Importantly, I can make my CAI to interest learners better than the past from the knowledge that teacher taught me in class.

This week, teacher taught me about how to use Captivate 8 program. First, I chose the blank project and size 1048*768. Then, teacher taught me to create many pages into my CALL such as register, welcome, and menu, etc. After that, I learnt about how to make a test in this program. In addition, I knew method about linking flame to another flame. I could add some picture or audio into my CALL.

This week, I learnt about the research Computer Assisted Language Learning and English Language Teaching in Thailand. It's show about advantages and disadvantages of applying CALL to the success of the language learning. The purposes of CALL are improving and development skills of students.Then, I learnt about using Captivate 8 program and learning about tools of this program that we can use it to create CALL.

This week, I learnt about kinds of CAI .

        - Instructional games
        - Discovery 
        - Problem-Solving
        - Tests
In addition, I learnt about Computer-Assisted Language Learning (CALL) that is "The search for and study of applications of the computer in language teaching and learning". Applying CALL to teach has become a new trend to advanced countries. Though, this process is difficult and complicated, it can help teachers to build up confidence and consult the innovation. It's hope that the difficulties teacher has faced in the study can serve the future reference for improving language learning strategies in college English teacher.

                 This week, teacher taught me about the false friend . For example, "smart" in English means clever but in Thai means about handsome. So, false friend is a word that same sound and look but had different meaning in two languages. After that, I learnt about applying innovative spirit multimedia foreign language teaching.

This week, My teacher taught me about how to use antconc program. Teacher told me to searched words from the topic that I selected. Then, add them into notepad and save them.When we use the antconc program , we must open files from notepad that have many words from we add. After that, we can see about the concordances of words or frequency of words. In addition, teacher taught me about hoe to use English-Thai parallel corpora from http://www.arts.chula.ac.th/~ling/ParaConc/ .In this class, teacher gave  examples the English words that have many different meaning in Thai meaning such as , friend or jail etc.

    This week I learnt about Corpus Linguistics by Mr.Kriangkrai Vathanalaoha. Corpus was a collection of word and a theory or methodology of Language and also a seek for the truth. I learnt about historical of corpus that  was a theory and methadology of language. I knew that corpus was created since 1897. It was around 19th - early 20th century. It had two cases that was The case for introspection and The case for empiricism.Then, I learnt about Types of corpus. There were seven types of corpus.



                      1. Special Corpus

                      2. General Corpus

                      3. Mutilingual Corpus

                      4. Parallel Corpus

                      5. Learner Corpus

                      6. Historical or Diachronic Corpus

                      7. Monitor Corpus


     In addition, I knew about  we could find the collections that were used mostly of the words. I learnt about processes in corpus linguistics. Next, I had try to use corpus follow him who taught me.Then, I knew about phrases that are In broad daylight and swanning around. The meaning of In broad daylight was in negative way that I knew.  Finally, I think the corpus is a good one for teachers, students or everybody because it was a useful material that you can use it.

      This week, teacher gave me some questions to answer by finding from a knowledge sheet that was a Using blog in the Foreign Language Classroom : Encouraging Learner Independence research of Kathleen Pinkman at Kwansei Gakuin University in Japan. This is questions that are :

1.What is the purpose of this project?

- This project was an out-of-class project aimed at motivating students to take advantage of authentic environments outside the classroom in order to practice language skills and communicate  with others.

2.How was the data collected?

- Data were collected from learners through questionnaires and interviews conducted at the end of the term.

3.What were the results of pre-project questionnaire?

- No student had a blog prior to the class, and only two learners had any knowledge of blogs.

4.What were the results of post-project questionnaire?

- The students spent 30 minutes/week working on the project. Three learners spent between 10-15 minutes, and two spent more than one hour blogging each week.

5.What are the advantages of blog?

- The students enjoyed using blogs in the classroom. Eight learners agrees that they enjoyed interacting. Seven learners cited that they thought their writing skills had improved from participating in the project. Five learners told they learnt about new vocabulary and using it.In addition, the advantages of blog can practice your grammar and improve your thinking in English.

6.What are the disadvantages of blog?

- The students told they were unable to understand the software that uploaded pictures onto their sites.

7.What are the suggestions to improve the project?

- The author uncovered many comments that linked blogger with writing.
"...It is very difficult to write by English but we can progress by English writing ability by write blog."
"...Writing skills. Every week I have to write 150 words , so but only I joined the class I don't have...I couldn't have a chance to write English... 150 so..."
"...When I wrote the blog, I think that oh, I have to study more words, because I can write sentence...writing sentence is not so difficult, but I don't know this ...how to write English, I realized that I have to study more words."

     Moreover, I learnt about basic corpus and I knew about Concordance that is a list of all of the occurrences of a word or phrase in a corpus, given in the context of the sentence it occurs in. Then, I learnt about about AntConc that is a program for analysing electronic texts (that is, corpus linguistics) in order to find and reveal patterns in language. It was created by Laurence Anthony of Waseda 

University. It is, in my opinion, one of the most well designed and easy to use corpus tools out there.

This week, I learnt outside the class that is seminar in my major. I learnt about "Linguistics and Language Teaching" by Miss. Budsaba Kanoksilapatham  who came from Silpakorn University. She taught about teaching methods/pedagogy and linguistic competence . I learnt how to pronounce the letter "H" , consonant sound such as, think, thank, them, the, etc and  vowel sounds such as, guess, said, bread, friend, full-fool, back-bag, etc. Then, I had test about stress the words in the topic of phonetics and phonology, for example, humid, idealistic, premature, familiarize, etc. Next, I learnt about collocations such as, economic crisis, situation policy, black white, etc. Also, I had a new knowledge about pragmatics, sociolinguistics, lexical semantics. Moreover, I knew shades of meaning about astound is stronger than surprise, I knew the word is "flunk" that is slang word from fail, and I knew thin is positive than skinny. In addition, I learnt about discourse and corpus that are important for teachers.I think the knowledge from this seminar benefits to everyone who want to a English teacher in the future.

Architects make houses.

Teachers make them all.

     In this week, teacher taught me about found the clock, calendar, counter for my blog. Then, teacher told me to get code of them into my blog. After that, teacher taught me how to link my blog to another blogs that I wanted. In addition, I can add video of knowledge about English language that I interested in. Finally, I learnt to make my profile, homework 1, learning log 1-2 into my blog by making text and shared them to public.

First of all, I login www.blogger.com with G-mail. Next, I started to create my blog. Teacher told me to find many beautiful templates and told about method to change template to me.
