These are the abbreviations I have learnt in class

IT = Information Technology
   >> It is the use of any computers, storage, networking and other physical devices , infrastructure and process, store, secure and exchange all forms of electronics data.
   >> เทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ คือ เทคโนโลยีในการรวบรวมข้อมูล การจัดเก็บอย่างเป็นระบบ

ICT = Information Communication Technology
   >> ICT refers to all the technology used to handle telecommunications, broadcast media, intelligent building management system, audiovisual processing and transmission system, and network bases control and monitoring functions.
   >> เทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศและการสื่อสาร คือ เทคโนโลยีที่เกี่ยวข้องกับข่าวสารและการสื่อสาร

CAI = Computer Assisted Instruction
   >> A self - learning technique, usually office/online, involving interaction of the student with programmed instructional materials.
   >> คอมพิวเตอร์ช่วยสอน เป็นกระบวนการสอน โดยใช้สื่อคอมพิวเตอร์ที่สามารถโต้ตอบระหว่างผู้เรียนกับคอมพิวเตอร์ได้

CALL = Computer Assisted Language Learning
   >> It is often perceived, somewhat narrowly, as an approach to language teaching and learning in the computer
   >> บทเรียนคอมพิวเตอร์ช่วยสอน

CMC = Computer Mediated Communication
   >> It refers to human communication via computers and includes many different forms of synchronous, asynchronous or real-time interaction that humans have with each other using computer as tools to exchange text, images, audio and video.
   >> การติดต่อสื่อสารหรือการโต้ตอบปฏิสัมพันธ์ผ่านคอมพิวเตอร์

TELL = Teaching English Language Learners
   >> Program focuses on social linguistics, literacy,  intercultural communication, and the interaction of language learning and used.
   >> การเรียนการสอนภาษาอังกฤษ ให้แก่ผู้เรียนภาษาอังกฤษ โดยการศึกษามีความเชี่ยวชาญและความรู้สองภาษา

MUDs = Multiple User Dialogue
   >> A MUD is a computer program which users can log into and explore. You can chat with other character users.
   >> โปรแกรมคอมพิวเตอร์ที่ผู้ใช้สามารถเข้าสู่ระบบและสำรวจผู้ใช้อื่น และสามารถแชทกับผู้ใช้ตัวละครอื่นๆได้

MOOs = MUD Object Oriented
   >> A MOO is a text-based online virtual reality system to which multiple users are connected at the same time.
   >> ระบบของการสื่อสารที่เป็นซิงโครนัสที่ผู้ใช้สามารถปฏิสัมพันธ์กันได้ด้วยการพิมพ์ข้อความ

WBI = Web-based Instruction
   >> Custom tailored training delivered through a web browser over any network. WBI is regularly updated and is available on-demand in several formals. Also called online course ware, online learn ware, etc.
   >> การเรียนการสอนตามเว็บ เพื่อนำเสนอบทเรียนในลักษณะสื่อหลายมิติประกอบการสอน
